(The well of the Rightly Guided Caliph Othman bin Affan belongs to him) is an ancient well attributed to a man named Roma. It is a well and was owned by a Jew. Its water is sold to the Muslims, each water bottle for a dirham, so Othman, may God be pleased with him, bought it and gave it as an endowment for the Muslims, in compliance with the saying: Whoever digs a rum will have Paradise.
At Bir Athq, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and his companion, Al-Siddiq, descended upon their entry into Medina, where the Ansar received them joyfully and rejoicing.
It is located west of the Quba Mosque and is known as the Well of Aris. It was also known as the Well of the Seal, and it was reported that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sat on its edge.
It is located on Wadi Bathan in the Al-Aliyah area, and it is one of the wells from which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to drink water.
It is one of the wells of the ancient historical city, and the Prophet used to descend there when he wanted to perform Umrah or Hajj or at His return from some invasions.
